KCBAS News

Fueled by a passion for equality and inclusion for persons who are blind or have low vision, the KC Blind All-Stars Foundation (KCBAS), which supports the Kansas State School for the Blind, has been dedicated to providing assistance to low vision and blind students in education, technology, career assistance and experience, sports and music since 1973.

In keeping with its mission, KCBAS has a policy of nondiscrimination, diversity and inclusion in the selection of its Board members, associations, volunteers and vendors. Specifically, it is the policy of the Board to not discriminate on the basis of race, age, sex, disability or religion. The Board values the fundamental value and dignity of all persons. One of the Board’s goals is to foster belonging and empowerment for our blind and low vision students at the school and in the community. We will listen to and work with any vendor or association who values our mission and goals. We will listen to and engage with our diverse communities in an effort to make the community more inclusive.
