Leadership Note: John DeLeon, Board Member and Past President

Reflecting on my time with KCBAS, the growth of our board has been remarkable. When I first joined, we were in a very different place, and seeing the evolution of our leadership team to what it is today has been inspiring.

A vital part of this journey has been our focus on relationships. The support we receive from both dedicated individuals and our local business partners is the lifeblood of this organization. It is through these community connections that we are able to provide such impactful resources for the students at KSSB.

Looking ahead, we shouldn’t place any limits on what KCBAS can become. As we look toward the next few years, I am excited about our potential to expand our vision and continue evolving to meet the needs of the visually impaired community in new and innovative ways.
